Publications have been cranking out report after report regarding the happenings surrounding Bobbi Kristina Brown. We’ve heard just about everything from outlets claiming that the family will be pulling the plug tomorrow on the anniversary of Whitney’s death, to reports of physical altercations between members of the Brown family. Things have gotten so out of hand that Bobby Brown’s attorney, Christopher Brown, is addressing the reports again—not to mention he seems to be threatening to take legal action. The statement  released on the Brown family’s behalf reads:

“We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended. However the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time.

In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Daily Mail (UK) citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be “first” has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy. This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence.”

Bobby also thanked everyone who attended the candlelight vigil held in his daughter’s honor and requested privacy going forward.

“We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers.”

We can definitely see how all of these negative reports can be frustrating to Bobbi Kristina’s relatives. It’s unfortunate that things have gotten so out of control—especially considering how sensitive this situation is.
