Just one week before the hospitalization of her cousin Bobbi Kristina Brown, Dionne Warwick was rushed to a local hospital where she remained for nearly two weeks.
According to TMZ, Warwick slipped in the shower of her South Orange, New Jersey home. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance and underwent surgery on her ankle. She was released on Thursday.
Earlier today, Dionne took to Twitter to thank fans for their well wishes.
“On behalf of my family, I would like to thank you for all of your kind words. All in God’s plan,” she wrote.
We’re definitely sending our prayers and well wishes Dionne’s way.
