Over a month after Yung Berg was arrested and accused of assaulting his girlfriend, Masika Tucker, the troubled ex-reality star is breaking his silence. In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Berg seemed to do a great job of dancing around questions and blaming his evasiveness on the fact that there’s an ongoing investigation.

It appears that he is alluding that he never put hands on Masika and that his being arrested and fired from “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” was all the result of a huge misunderstanding. But prior to even addressing the allegations, the rapper and producer attempted to dispel rumors that their fight began over a declined credit card.

“They are lying. My credit card did not get declined or nothing like that. There was never a credit card issue at all.”

He then referenced an interview that Masika did after the incident where she basically claimed that he never attacked her.

“She explained the situation. I didn’t abuse her. I didn’t touch her. I didn’t do anything.”

Berg went on to add that she wasn’t even the person who called the police. He did not, however, deny choking her, nor did he explain why the police were called in the first place. Interestingly, Angela Yee informed him that she had a conversation with the show’s executive producer Mona Scott-Young, which seemed to imply that Masika actually told people that he attacked her.

“[Mona] was like, ‘You know it’s crazy because she [Masika] told us that he did all of this stuff to her, but then she wants to put him back. You can’t just come and say that and then say…’”

Switching gears, he also claimed that he was “pressured” into saying that his co-star, Teairra Mari, performed oral sex on him in an alley.

“I feel horrible for even saying that. To keep it 100 with you, I was pressured into saying that. You know, Ray left at the end of the season. He was trying to get back with his girl, Princess, and he came at me crazy like, ‘I’m going to turn up on you at the reunion. You should’ve never tried to have sex with my girl and all of this other stuff. I’m like, ‘Your girl? What are you talking about?’ Then he was like, ‘She’s going to be my girl forever.’”

“Ray J loves that girl. It is what it is.”

It’s unclear what any of this has to do with him attempting to expose Teairra at the reunion, but okay. As for the whole Masika incident, I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see what happens after the investigation concludes.
