Peter Thomas: NeNe Tried To Get Cynthia Fired From RHOA, So They Shouldn’t Be Friends Again
If you watched Sunday’s episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” you know that Cynthia and NeNe were finally able to make peace after falling out around the season six reunion. Afterwards, Cynthia was giddy about the chance to possibly be friends with NeNe again, but Peter wasn’t feeling it. He busted Cynthia’s bubble by reminding her that NeNe did some really foul things during their friendship that Cynthia doesn’t seem to want to hold her accountable for. Basically, they had been living good without NeNe (and having more sex), and he didn’t think Cynthia needed to bring her back into their lives.
Watching that scene, many people felt that Peter was putting his nose into business that doesn’t concern him, as usual. But according to Thomas, he had good reason to let Cynthia know how he felt. As he puts it, NeNe tried to take food out of their mouths by encouraging Andy Cohen to fire her from the show, so she’s not a good friend or a good person:
Thomas, as far as I know, is most likely referring to the time that NeNe was on “Watch What Happens Live” after the RHOA reunion and said that Cynthia brings nothing to the show and could go. While that’s not the same thing as putting a bug in Andy Cohen’s ear to cut her, especially since he was the one who asked the question, it’s definitely not cool.
What do you make of what Thomas had to say, and his issues with Cynthia and NeNe trying to make up on Sunday night’s episode?
