The protests titled, Justice For All and Millions March, called for an end to racial profiling by police officers. In Washington, DC, Justice For All Protestors marched in downtown D.C and drew about 25,000 people. The event was organized by Al Sharpton and even featured D.C Police Chief Cathy Lanier. She shook hands with protestors as they walked.

As for New York City, organizers estimate a total of 50,000 protestors attended the Millions March. Protestors were seen all over New York City including Times Square and Union Square. Ron Davis, the father of Jordan Davis, Valerie Bell, the mother of Sean Bell, and Frank Graham, the father of Ramarley Graham all attended the march. Rapper Nas, hip hop mogul, Russell Simmons and Kevin Lilies all attended the march.

The pictures of both events are absolutely breathtaking. It’s beautiful to see our community coming together for such a great cause.
