How to Actually Enjoy Dating

All the single ladies out there know that delving back  into the dating pool can be a little scary especially if you’ve been out of the game for a minute.  In fact, it can be tempting to think of dating as simply a neccessary chore in the quest for love. However, playing the field can be fun if you decide to approach dating with a sense of humor and an open mind. Here are five ways to make courting less complicated and more enjoyable.

    I enjoy reading the articles and hear women sometimes going through the same thing which means you're not alone, however, I'm unable to really participate because I haven't had a date in I don't know how long. I thought once my son was on his own, when I learned to really enjoy myself, career on the right path, ensuring I had something to bring to the table as I would expect from my mate that everything would fall in place. It appears when I became more conscious of what one should really get and deserve from relationship that it stopped. I wouldn't wish being so alone on anyone. I pray, I pray, I hope, I dream, and I pray some more but right now I am a bit confused and I would like to say that if I wasn't as confident in myself that I would possibly be depressed but I don't believe confident is the right word. Although the love connection might not come immediately why is it so difficult to find someone to date, communicate with, laugh, act silly and just have fun with? I really miss the male attention and I'm not sure where to go from here or were I'll end up. It's been such a long time that it's quite frightening!

    Wish my last date would've read this blog before we went out. She was too busy talking about how much she can't stand dating and how she typically favors darker-skinned men (my skin color is a nice reddish-caramel) and then had the nerve to call me cheap because I told her I really don't go out to eat a whole lot. Excuse me? I'm cheap? We're out here on our 3rd date and she hadn't even paid for so much as a tip!!! Add to that, she lives at home and doesn't drive. I have my own place, a car, and take care of two sick parents physically and sometimes financially.

    Fellas, don't be like I was (never again), either go dutch or just meet women places and decide whether to pay for them or not after the date is done. Earning powers have changed and so have the laws of dating. Progress!
