National Organizations Call For Systemic Change In Wake Of Darren Wilson Grand Jury Decision

Organizations across the country have issued statements and expressed their viewpoints in response to the grand jury’s failure to indict Darren Wilson for the shooting death of unarmed Ferguson, MO teen Michael Brown. Among them, certainly is the NAACP, which has launched a petition pressing the Justice Department to continue with its investigation, which could lead to a different outcome.

NAACP President and CEO Cornell William Brooks spoke with CBS This Morning, expressing the pain and frustration about the grand jury decision, but vowing to press on for change. That interview is above.
