Heartland Monitor Poll Finds That Americans Believe Work/Life Balance Is Attainable

What does it mean to attain a work/life balance and are you one of the majority that believes it’s possible? According to a recent Allstate/National Journal Heartland Monitor Poll, most Americans believe that “most people can succeed at work, make a good living, and contribute to their family and their community, it they manage their time well and set the right priorities.” In the same breath there is still a number of Americans who feel pessimistic that a successful work/life balance is possible based on the country’s current economic climate. The poll found that America’s overall dissatisfaction with our country’s politics has a lot to do with this negative view.
