Earlier this week, we told you that Ginuwine’s former attorney, Bruce Beckner, exposed the singer’s financial issues to the world. He claims that Ginuwine is “very close to declaring bankruptcy” and owes many people a lot of money. He also claimed that Ginuwine and wife, Solé (Tonya M. Johnston), are divorced, and coming to a settlement played a part in crippling his finances. This information was news to just about everybody.

Well, the singer is speaking out about the allegations that he’s broke and divorced, and decided to do so yesterday on his Instagram account. While he wouldn’t say what the deal is with his financial situation, he said that he and Solé aren’t divorced…yet. He did admit, however, that they are separated and probably won’t make it, which is due to his own mistakes made during their marriage.

Afterwards, the singer posted a prayer to help him get through his current struggles:

“My Lord Thank you oh LORD I am lifting up may pain my hurt my problems to you some has said to Me you don’t have to post prayer in the morning but they can post nonsense,I juSt don’t understand that because I’m proud of my GOD and I dont care who knows, who hears it so to you I say thank you.I appreciate the opportunity to witness another blessing, maybe I can be the one to take that person out there shell and speak to GOD here In This day because they see regardless of who I am and what I do I can still thank the LORD,some family will kick you while your down some won’t make sure your alright some just simply don’t care as well as your so called friends but I know you have something in store for me so I laugh at stones being thrown, but I find that as long as I Have you those others are obsolete.so I thank you for even getting me to that point and mindset thank you LORD and thank you again….All these things I ask for in JESUS name today thank you MOST HIGH…”

It’s definitely good to see Ginuwine taking accountability for things going on his marriage (too often people just point fingers and let things get ugly) and trying to find peace. Good luck to the both of them and their children during this transition.
