“The Woman That I Thought Was Supposed To Be There For Me Is Nowhere To Be Found”: Apollo Talks Phaedra In New RHOA Sneak Peek
Who will be tuning in to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” on Sunday? Yes, the show, now in its seventh season, will return this weekend with what looks to be quite a bit of drama. As always, a lot of that will surround Apollo Nida.
In a preview clip for this season, we get to see where Nida and Phaedra Parks were and what they were doing on the day he was sentenced. While Nida was at home gathering up his clothes and cooking himself a hot meal to prepare for court, Parks had already picked up their kids and taken them out of town to a hotel. Wanting to keep them away from the foolishness surrounding his case, including paparazzi she claimed were everywhere, Parks bolted.
“I spoke to him briefly. He was sort of upset that I took the kids and brought them to the hotel and upset that I’m not going to come to court. But whether I go to court or not, it’s not going to change anything…I’m not going to subject my kids to any of this crazy press stuff because I don’t want them to have any idea of the disaster that’s going on. I gotta be a parent first.”
Of course, he didn’t appreciate what he felt was a lack of support during a very dark time.
“The woman that I thought was supposed to be there for me and cherish me, she’s nowhere to be found.”

On a sidenote: Are all the men going to be doing confessionals this season? Thanks a lot, Peter…
