They say a name says a lot. But we weren’t quite sure what some of these celebrities were thinking when they named their babies. Luckily their children will come from money and probably won’t ever have to get a regular job.

Titan Jewell

This was a big year for Kelly Rowland’s personal life. The former Destiny’s Child member married her manager Tim Witherspoon earlier this year and the newlyweds have just welcomed a new addition to their family. Rowland gave birth to their first child, a son named Titan Jewell this November. No word yet on the inspiration or back-story behind the unique name.

Future (Jr)

When Ciara was ready to focus on her career again, she turned to singer/songwriter Future to help craft her new sound but soon they were working on more than music. Completely in love, soon the two were inseparable and in no time they were expecting their first child together. Although this was her firstborn, Future, real name Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, was already a father several times over. And when she gave birth to their son, he was given his father’s stage name: Future Zahir Wilburn.

Royal Reign

Out of nowhere, Lil Kim popped up on the scene well into her second trimester. Few people outside of the petite rapper’s inner circle knew that she was with child but an appearance at this year’s New York Fashion Week changed all of that. A few months later, Kim welcomed a baby girl named Royal Reign. Her baby daddy’s name is just as interesting. He goes by the name Mr. Papers and is also a rapper.

Heaven Love’on Stone and God’Iss Love Stone

After dating for just five months, Lil Mo married her first husband Al Stone. They wasted no time starting a family because she became pregnant two months later. Before they divorced, the “Superwoman” singer had two daughters with him named Heaven Love’on Stone and God’Iss Love Stone. Lil Mo found love again with her second husband Phillip Bryant and the two children she had with him had more common names: Justin McKenzie and Jonah Maddox.

T.I.

T.I. has not lived the life of an average man and his children do not have average names. The Atlanta rapper is a father to five children, two of which are with his wife Tiny. T.I. took a lot of creative liberty with the rest of their names. His sons are named Messiah Ya’ Majesty, Domani Uriah Harris, Clifford “King” Joseph Harris III and Major Philant Harris. That’s a lot.

King Cairo

“Rack City” was an important song for Tyga. Not only did it help his bank account after the song went platinum, but he also cast his future baby mama as his love interest in the video. Soon Blac Chyna was glued to the California rapper’s hip and eight months later they announced that there was a bun in the oven. The same day they welcomed King Cairo into the world was the same day he purchased at $6.5 million home in Calabasas, CA for his new family.

Blue Ivy

When you’re the highest paid entertainer on the planet, you could do whatever you want and that includes naming your child after a color. Beyonce became the biggest trending topic ever when she announced that she was pregnant at the MTV VMAs and when she finally gave birth to Jay Z’s daughter, people eagerly awaited to hear the baby’s name. Beyonce posted an excerpt from Rebecca SoInit’s 2005 novel “A Field Guide to Getting Lost” that gave some insight on why she chose the name Blue. And since Jay and Bey tied the knot on the fourth of April, Ivy is rumored to be the Roman numerals for four.

North West

Soon after Kanye West announced that his then-girlfriend Kim Kardashian was expecting their first child, people started wondering what the eccentric rapper would name his firstborn. Even Las Vegas got in on the action on what their baby’s name would be and the rumored favorite was something that started with a “K” or Donda, after his deceased mother. Yeezy may be a private person but his mother-in-law isn’t and she explained the meaning behind North. “The way [Kim] explained it to me was that North means highest power and she says that North is their highest point together,” Kris Jenner said.

Apple

When it was time to name her daughter, Gwyneth Paltrow did not find inspiration at the grocery store. But it certainly seems that way. “The Perfect Murder” star and her rocker husband Chris Martin named their daughter Apple and it came from the bible. “Apples are so sweet, and they’re wholesome, and it’s biblical and I just thought it sounded so lovely and clean!” Paltrow exclaimed when explaining how she came up with such an odd name.

Bronx Mowgli

Bronx is a well-known borough in New York City but apparently it’s can be a person’s name as well. Ashlee Simpson and her rocker husband Pete Wentz welcomed their first son together in 2008 and they borrowed the borough’s name. Although he didn’t reveal the specific story behind naming their son Bronx Mowgli, Wentz did explain why they didn’t go with the name of another borough. “I would just like to say that it wasn’t because either of us were trying to give our son street cred,” he said. “At the end of the day, we like the name. Brooklyn gets a lot of love. It’s time for the Bronx to get a little bit of love too.”

Sage Moonblood

With a name like Sage Moonblood, you would need to have a parent that could beat anybody up. Luckily for Sage, his father was Sylvester Stallone. He followed in his father’s footsteps into the entertainment business and played Rocky Balboa Jr. in “Rocky V.” In addition to acting, Sage stepped behind the scenes and also worked as a director, producer and film distributor. In 2012, he was found dead from a heart attack inside of his apartment. He was just 36.

Prince

When it was time for the King of Pop to have heirs, he named his two sons after him. Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. is the oldest and he was given the nickname “Prince.” Five years later, the “Black & White” singer welcomed another son and he was also named after his father. But his nickname wasn’t nearly as regal as his older brother’s. Michael Joseph Jackson II answers to the name “Blanket.”

Bear Blu

There’s nothing cuter than a nicely, cuddly bear, right? That must’ve what was going through Alicia Silverstone’s mind after she gave birth to her son in 2011. The “Clueless” actress and her husband Christopher Jarecki christened him Bear Blu. As if her odd choice in a name didn’t grab enough attention, Silverstone came under fire the following year after she uploaded a video of herself feeding pre-chewed food from her own mouth to her son. Silverstone defended her actions by pointing out premastication has been practiced for a thousand years.

Kal-El

There are many grown men that are huge fans of the comic book superhero Superman. But Nicolas Cage took his infatuation for the caped wonder to the next level when he revealed the name of his son. He named his son Kal-El, which is Superman’s birth name. The “National Treasure” star was also a huge Elvis Presley fan and he ended up married to his daughter Lisa Marie Presley for three whole months before filing for divorce.

Jermajesty Jackson

We’ve always known that Jermaine Jackson has always been a bit eccentric and that extended to naming his children. The former Jackson Five member has seven children and all of their names start with a “J” but he saved the best name for last. His last child is named Jermajesty Jackson. But what’s even weirder is Jermajesty’s mother used to be married to Jermaine’s brother Randy and had two children by him. She also had another son with Jermaine before divorcing him in 2003.
