So “Wild N’ Out” comedian Carlos “Spanky” Hayes recently claimed that he auditioned for the role of “Jody” in John Singleton’s Baby Boy. According to Hayes, after competing against 30 actors, producers narrowed it down to him and Tyrese.

“I f*cking love both of you guys,” Hayes claims one of the producers said. “Both of you guys are talented. But which one of you guys are going to suck my c*ck?”

Hayes never actually mentioned Tyrese’s name, but we all know who ended up with the lead role in Baby Boy, so there you go.

Once Tyrese caught wind Spanky’s accusation, he responded with a video of his own, which he kicks off by saying, “You know you done f*cked up right?” As he walks around his spacious home with a fur blanket draped around him, he pretty much tells Spanky that he just committed career suicide and then runs down all of the reasons why Spanky’s story isn’t true.

“What man wakes up and says, “You know what? Today, I want to end my career. Today, I want to figure out a way to stop my kids from eating. Today, I want to commit career suicide.” You know you done f*cked up right?

Let me explain to y’all. First of all, you claim — ha! ha! — you claim there was an audition with 30 men. That’s a lot of dudes fighting for one role, but I understand. Let me tell you something you don’t know. First of all, the role for Baby Boy was written, directed and produced by John Singleton. It was written for Tupac. That’s a factual fact. When Tupac was killed, he only had one person in mind to play Baby Boy. It wasn’t them. It wasn’t you. N*gga it was me.”

He went on to say that while he did audition for the role of “Jody,” it was not the kind of audition that Spanky described.

“I did audition, but it wasn’t the audition that you claimed I did. The audition I did was me, who already had the role for Baby Boy, showing up for an audition to find the woman who ended up playing my mother. And we discovered my favorite woman in the whole world, Taraji P. Henson. So at what point, did it narrow down to you versus me? You just said some dumba** sh*t.”

Tyrese then claimed that when he auditioned for Baby Boy, Spanky was probably only about 13 years old, which further debunks Spanky’s story.
