Judge Grants Restraining Order Against Keyshia Cole To Alleged Attack Victim
Last month, we told you that Keyshia Cole was arrested after allegedly attacking a woman at Birdman’s home. As the story goes, Keyshia showed up at the Cash Money mogul’s penthouse and found the alleged victim Sabrina Mercadel there. According to reports, she began questioning Mercadel, who claims she does nothing but business with Birdman, about the nature of their relationship. An attack reportedly ensued and Cole was carted off to jail.
Following the alleged attack, Mercadel petitioned for a restraining order against Cole, which according to TMZ, a judge recently granted. Per the restraining order, the “She” singer is prohibited from coming within 100 yards of and making any contact with Mercadel.
Mercadel, who says that she has been friends with Birdman since they were young, accuses Cole of punching her in the face, scratching her with her fingernails and throwing objects at her. She says that in addition to injuring her neck and back during the brawl, her finger was injured so severely that she may never recover full use. Also, sources close to the situation have corroborated Mercadel’s story that she was simply “visiting a friend” the morning Keyshia discovered her in Birdman’s home and that there was nothing sexual going on.
So far there has been no mention of one yet, but we smell a lawsuit.
