For some time now, fans of Remy Ma and the rappers doting husband, fellow rapper Papoose, have been eagerly awaiting her release from prison. Although the Bronx rapper was scheduled to be released today, it’s being reported by Revolt TV that her highly anticipated release has been postponed for now.

According to reports, a spokesperson from the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility confirmed that the wife and mother was involved in a “disciplinary proble” on July 21. Due to the incident, Remy reportedly is required to remain behind bars until the issue has been properly documented and resolved. Interesting enough, the incident is said to have occurred on the same day of her radio interview with Angie Martinez. However, details about what specifically occurred have not been made public.

According to Miss Info, her husband, relatives, friends, fans and even camera crews waited outside of the prison for hours today for her to be released. Officials eventually came down and formally informed Papoose that she would be required to remain behind bars for a bit longer. Sources say the rapper did his best to remain calm, despite the disappointing news. It has also been reported that the 34-year-old star spent the last week of her incarceration in solitary confinement; however, her team was not made aware that this would delay her release.

We will continue to keep you posted as new details emerge.

Everyone knows the closer you get to being released you have to stay SOLO cuz haters will do what they can to mess up your release.

    • Teach_One

It doesn’t matter if you stay solo or not, other inmates will still harass you anyway.
