Unfortunately, it appears that Columbus Short still has not mastered the art of keeping his nose clean. According to TMZ, a judge issued a warrant for the former “Scandal” actor’s arrest earlier today.

Apparently, he was scheduled to appear at a criminal court hearing this morning regarding the domestic violence charges being brought against him, but he was a no-show. His estranged wife, Tanee McCall-Short, however, was present and requested more protection against the troubled actor.

Due to his absence, a judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest. Considering the severity of his legal problems, we can’t quite understand why Columbus didn’t show up to the court hearing today. Perhaps he hasn’t learned his lesson quite yet.
