The “Material Girl” singer’s messages were accompanied by faxed love letters to him. The items went for $40,000.

Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel outbid everyone winning the item and the article of clothing now hangs in his studio.

A millionaire ended up winning the bid and three years later he became Blunt’s brother-in-law.
One auction house took celebrity memorabilia to where no other bidder had gone before. William Shatner underwent a routine medical procedure and GoldenPalace.com capitalized off of it.
