Ray J Charged With 10 Crimes Behind Drunken Outburst—Including Sexual Battery
A few months ago, we told you that Ray J was arrested after he allegedly went on a drunken rampage inside a bar at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. As you may recall, not only was Ray accused of brushing up against the backside of a woman at the bar, but also resisting arrest. He even allegedly kicked out the back window of the patrol car. Apparently, the Los Angeles District Attorney wasn’t amused by Ray’s antics because the former reality star has just been hit with a plethora of charges relating to the incident.
According to TMZ, the District Attorney has charged Ray with a total of ten crimes, which includes 4 counts of resisting arrest, 3 counts of assault and battery, 2 counts of vandalism and 1 count of sexual battery. What’s interesting about the sexual battery charge is that the officers who responded to the incident told TMZ at the time that it was not sexual battery because the contact Ray made with the woman was “incidental” and not intentional. However, the D.A. seemed to see things differently.
All of the charges being brought against the R&B singer are misdemeanors, but it looks like he may be heading back and forth to court for a minute. We’re hoping that he’ll get it together after this.
