One of the rising stars of NASCAR is 20-year-old Darrell Wallace, Jr., a native of Mobile, Alabama. This racing phenomenon was the first black driver to be named as Rookie of the Year in a NASCAR series. In October 2013, Wallace made history, becoming only the second black driver in NASCAR history to win a series since 1963 by winning the the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway.
