So What Happens To Logan While Tamar Is On Tour?

Being a working mom is tough enough, but what happens when a mother’s job requires her to travel across the country on a regular basis? Reality star Tamar Braxton recently spoke with People about how she manages to still spend quality time with her 1-year-old son, Logan Vincent Herbert, even when she’s out on the road. For one, the 37-year-old singer says little Logan goes everywhere she goes.

“Logan goes with me everywhere and brings a normalcy to everything,” she said. “I make sure he knows I’m his mother and I put him to bed every night and he wakes up to me.”

But she can’t take all of the credit for this decision, Tamar adds that this is something she learned from her siblings.

“My sisters are great mothers,” she said . “Now, for the first time in our lives, we’re all mothers.”

It seems like it was just yesterday when the singer first announced her pregnancy, now her baby boy is walking and talking.

“He’s amazing,” she gushed. “He’s walking, he’s talking, he’s playing the piano — he’s a little Benjamin Button, it’s crazy. I don’t know what happened, he’s not a baby anymore.”

While he looks like the perfect combination of both Tamar and Vince, the first-time mom says Logan is taking after his dad in more ways than one.

“They have some of the same clothes and it’s the funniest thing. They both wear caps. It’s like his mini-me,” she adds.

Speaking of clothes, Tamar admits that keeping up with Logan’s laundry is not one of her strong suits. Thankfully, she has her mom and the baby’s nanny to help out with that.

“Either my mom or his nanny will do it. I’m not the laundry girl,” she confessed. “I’m terrible! I’ve ruined too many good pieces. Some people can’t cook — well, I can’t do laundry.”

Our girl seems to be handling this mommy thing like a pro—with the exception of her refusal to do laundry.

Love me some Logan and Tamar can be alot of things, but I definitely see a good hard working mother.

Aww, Tamar is a good Mommy and I’m sure Logan is a very happy baby boy. I really enjoyed reading this article. Best wishes to the family.

Why do i feel sorry for a person that has more than enough $$ to afford her a host of nannies? WTF? As that to the mother of 6 in Brooklyn whose husband left her and she’s working 3jobs to put food on the table, keep the lights on and feed and clothe the children.

THat chick has 2 sisters that ain’t working and can sit and babysit! BYE!

    • ummmmmx

What makes you think that Tamar or the writer of this article were looking for sympathy? It’s really unfortunate that so many of you ladies will get on POSITIVE articles just to be hateful.

    • Trisha_B

So her sisters are suppose to stop their life, leave their kids to follow behind her?

    • Toccara Porter

      Why so hateful? Smh!

  • T. T.

If I could afford a nanny I would too. If I could afford a chef I would too. If I could afford housekeeper I would too. There’s no thing wrong with help especially if you are able to reward them by giving you help. She’s just working in an uncoventional way. Following her dreams but still being a mother she has the best of both worlds. If I could again I say I would.

    • jenn

      I would too, especially a chef.lol

  • Yolanda Harris

So…what was the point of this again? She’s a parent. She’s doing what parents do. The only difference is that she has the luxury of “hired help”. Must be nice.

    • True

Even parents who aren’t rich have help i.e daycare or a parent or sitter even nannys so she is no different then any other parent.

Before i scrolled through the comments, i didn’t think it would be possible for someone to find something negative to say about this woman gloating over her child/motherhood. Smfh…

      • positivebeatsnegative

Many people will find negativity in the sun rising in the east and setting in the west -_- they can’t help themselvs because the are too busy taking inventory of someone else life comparing then get mad, jealous or envious because their life is not the same (even with the same effort) the internet has allowed everyone to have a voice (all be it negative) its the society we live in.

I read this article on another site yesterday and the comments were so very, very negative. I suspect that it had more to do with people just not liking Tamar and, in general, not liking wealthy people who can afford nannies. But whether you like Tamar or not, I applaud her and Beyoncé and Halle and any other woman who takes her child with her across the globe while she continues to work. Good for them for staying true to their own personal goals and dreams AND doing Mommy duty at the same time. And good for those kids as well. Imagine the informal education they are getting (even at these young ages) that will make them more well-rounded people in the future.

She called him Benjamin Button lmaoooo. He does look like a lil grown man. He’s so cute

  • Just saying!!

I think the more difficult part is when they start school and need that stability of being in the same place a while. I’d be interested to see how she handles that because that’s going to be a challenge when you have a career that requires you to travel (which I plan to as well). You can’t bring your children with you everywhere once they have to start school… :(
