Hi-Five singer Russell Neal is in police custody after his wife was found dead in their Houston apartment, TMZ reports.

Details are pretty scarce at the moment, but the R&B singer reportedly told cops that his wife was dead in their home yesterday. He revealed that he and his wife had gotten into an argument and then requested to see an attorney and wouldn’t say much else to investigators.

Russell is currently being detained by police, but no charges have been filed. Hi-Five’s attorney Chris Brown released comment on the incident, but didn’t offer any details.

“We are aware of the situation and are presently evaluating it,” he told TMZ.

We will continue to keep you posted as this shocking story develops.

    SMH.

  • inubiyamarsha

Too much mental health issues among our people not being addressed. We need urgent attention there has been a recent spate in suicide, homicide etc

    • mmmdot

Do you think it might have to do with the war on drugs and the fact that at all levels of education we have twice the employment rate of whites? It COULD also be the housing discrimination makes affluent black people more likely to live in poor neighborhoods then poor whites. I agree we need mental health care, but the root pretty much EVERYTHING that is plaguing black people on a societal level is white people. 400 years later they’re still being racist.

Violence and crimes again women are on the rise these days? Why is this? And how do we stop it?

    • coolyfett

      Give men money…in a nutshell

      • TrillProphecies93

The fact that you said money so they don’t murder or kill truly means the world has gone to sh-t. Its common knowledge to know you don’t have to harm someone or take a life.

        • coolyfett

Yoo I was just answering your question honestly man. You ask how to stop it….my reply is funds/cash/money/wealth etc. Women are always on their best behavior when around men with money n status, but put them around average normal dudes and you get the nastier meaner sides of women. So ill go back to your original question. When a man feels powerless, he will do something or make adjustments to feel powerful. Sometimes us guys do the WRONG thing to feel powerful. Most times we do the right thing. This man felt powerless, causing him to make a hasty decision to feel powerful. Hope that makes sense. PEACE

I get what your saying bro but I’m just saying nothing in this world should make anyone want to kill. Its an all bad situation.

  • SuperTrooper1420

Dang … This group has had some hard times. I still can’t believe Tony died the way he did …

    • flyer27

Yea, tony should’ve never turn on his brother in law. At the end, with all that fish scale on the table and his nostril, his enemies storm his house and the hit man murk him. Tony Montana is the truth

  • SunFlower78

    Yet, another story…just sad.

  • @NCBred22

The story is sad if what the conclusions we are jumping to are true but on an unrelated note I cant help but ask, his lawyer’s name a typo or an odd coincidence?

    • mrsabsdeux

          • TrillProphecies93
