Tracy Morgan Released From Hospital Following Horrific Car Accident
Great news! Tracy Morgan was recently released from the hospital following his horrific June 7 car accident, the Los Angeles Times reports. The comedian has since been transferred to a rehabilitation facility where he will recover from his injuries.
“Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks,” said Tracy’s rep Lewis Kay said in a statement Friday. “While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go.”
Lewis went on to say that both Tracy and his fiancée, Megan Wollover, are very grateful “for the unbelievable care and attention” that he was provided at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey. The “30 Rock” actor suffered multiple injuries including broken ribs, legs and a broken nose in the wreck. Fellow comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair died in the accident. Megan took to Twitter last night to thank fans for their prayers and support.
“All your prayers helped- moving forward- stable & fair condition, but the journey continues… #faith,” she tweeted.
Earlier this week, we told you that Tracy was upgraded to fair condition.
“Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement. His personality is certainly starting to come back as well,” Lewis said in a released statement.
We’re glad to hear that he’s doing better.
