Gabrielle Union is such a joy to watch on television. She’s quirky and funny and quite adorable. And in the midst of being all those things, she also manages to speak the truth. During an interview on “Watch What Happens Live” Union spoke about everything from her best on-screen lover to distracting her man when he’s had a tough loss. And interestingly enough she also says that the Sheree she knew, before the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” was not like the woman we’ve seen on screen.

Check out the highlights from her interview and the videos below.

Andy asks her about the Miami Heat loss and whether or not it was hard on her.

“It was. I’m still in the thick of it. I’m like on the ground, there’s tears. He’s like ‘Baby, you win some, you lose some. I’m disappointed, I’m hard on myself but…you know, suck it up sister, really.'”

Andy asks if a tough loss means it’s going to be a rough night at home with Dwyane.

“No it means you pull out some tricks. The trickery comes out. I’m like ‘Alright, (fake stretches) missed the game winner…'”

“I do. But from like before they were Atlanta housewives. She actually had the hottest boutique in Atlanta for years. And it was the most amazing, fabulous boutique and she was awesome and amazing and totally normal. She actually has amazing, like sick taste. There was Sheree that I met, who was this amazing boutique owner that you walk in and she gives you champagne and it was amazing. And then there’s the show which I think is a character. But the real Sheree is cool as hell.

Her fellow guest, Shannon from the “Real Housewives of Orange County” interjects saying, there’s no character here though, pointing to herself. To which Gabby responded:

“You take responsibility, listening to you be accountable for your actions is a whole ‘nother thing.”

Dang. That’s just the slightest bit of shade if I ever heard it.
