Those Braxton sisters stay with some drama, but have they finally reached the end of the road? WE tv recently debuted a teaser for season four of the popular series and it looks like the Braxton women have all reached their breaking point. For starters, Tamar basically quit the show during a super dramatic scene with the Braxton family therapist, Dr. Sherry.

“This is not who I am,” an emotional Tamar can be seen telling Dr. Sherry. “This is my last scene and season.”

Of course, we all know that Tamar can get really dramatic at times, so it’s hard to tell whether or not she was merely speaking from a place of hurt or if she actually plans on abandoning the show. So far, no announcements have been made regarding her future with BFV, but her departure wouldn’t be a complete shock. As you may recall, her WE tv spin-off,  “Tamar & Vince,” caused a lot of tension and even seemed to stir up a bit of jealousy amongst the sisters. I suppose we’ll have to stay tuned to see what’s really going on.

The other sister who seems to have reached her tipping point is Towanda. In another scene from the teaser, Towanda goes into complete meltdown mode.

“Nobody cares! Nobody cares about me,” she screams before knocking a bunch of drinking glasses off of a table.

This season is definitely going to be an interesting one. “Braxton Family Values” returns to WE tv in August.

Watch the teaser below. Will you be tuning in?

towanda just needs to quit being jealous of tamar. it was so obvious that once tamar started getting all her fame, towanda was jealous of her because she wanted all the fame and attention for herself – clearly because we all saw how over the top her bday party was for no reason. it frustrates me how she’s so rude to tamar because she can’t get over her own jealousy.

I hate the direction We Tv is taking this it started out as a loving tight knit family now its turning into love and hip hop family addition,.. its a shame

    • SuperTrooper1420

I think some of it is that now that they are around each other all the time, they are forced to deal with animosities that have been simmering for years. I think the TV show is only partly to blame; seems like a lot of stuff with them isn’t addressed, especially where the breakdown of the family after their parents split is concerned. They remind me a lot of my dad and his siblings actually … I could only imagine what would happen if those folks had a show!

  • Addicted2RealityRubbish

    ANYTHING for ratings…. we’ll see…{looking side eyed}

  • TamartianDiamond

They certainly need to resolve their BFI (Braxton Family Issues) before attempting at anymore seasons. I wouldn’t mind just seeing Tamar and Vince on the screen tho…

  • Just saying!!

WOOOOOO!! Hells yea I’m watching! I always watch anyway but now I’m even more sure I want to see this one!! I feel bad for saying that cuz these are people’s lives and I’m getting enjoyment out of their drama but hey they put it out there for me to see so yah I’m watching! Lol

    • Just saying!!

Although…a part of me feels it isn’t real in the first place lol

      • Playto

Exactly! Don’t feel bad. First, a lot of the drama may be fake, and second, they want you to get enjoyment out of the drama or viewership would decline and the show would be canceled.

I wonder once the show goes off the air if it will be worth to a lot of the “reality stars” who have been depicted negatively. Some of them may actually be bad people, but for others, they have been painted more negatively due to editing. I just wonder if the money ultimately ends up being worth it.

      • guest

I enjoy it, too. It’s my ‘guilty pleasure’ I guess. But since they are putting their business out there (vs. me sticking my nose where it doesn’t belong), I really don’t feel guilty. I mainly watch it because sometimes I just want to see folks who look like me (Black woman) on TV, and I don’t find too many on the other shows I watch. Also, I refuse to watch ANY ‘Housewives’ show because those women don’t represent me AT ALL. At least with Toni and Tamar, I see two people I can identify with to some degree.

  • bean83

Towanda is the worst. She is the most unlikeable of the sisters and seems to have no direction at all. Her personal life with her husband is screwed up and in limbo, and her professional career was undetermined? When she first came on the show, she mentioned she was to be an actress in addition to being Toni’s assistant but now, I can’t been able to figure it out what she is supposed to be doing except hating on Tamar (who I couldn’t stand originally). Tamar has tried to apologize to her and she was still ugly towards her. This definitely needs to be the last season and yes, Towanda – no on cares about you. You have acted ridiculous for the past 2 seasons.

  • fuzzydred

This trailer has probably been cut and spliced together to make you think there’s drama going on when that’s not the case. They’re trying to get their viewership up. Tamar ain’t going nowhere. Her behind came up with the idea for the show!

    • Tigger83

She did but now her and Vince have a spin off that’s doing pretty well so she may decide to just that. They need to take a break and get family counseling esp. Tamar and Towanda. Tamar is certainly not innocent but I often find it interesting that Towanda never gets called out on what she has done but yet they team up on Tamar.

  • tan

This is why I say don’t do reality tv. In season 1 or 2 they would of never talked to each other like this especially in front on their mother. Now they are disrespecting their selves and their mother.

  • llawrence

Toni is the only one who has class, she didn’t even want to do this show and now I see why. Toni get off this show don’t go down with the rest of them.

    • Kristen

Errmmm..Toni has no class. Whenever she’s interviewed she reminds us of how empty her head is.

  • SuperTrooper1420

Towanda is my least favorite. She reminds me so much of my dad’s sister … anytime there’s something going on, somebody getting talked about, hated on or put down, she’s at the root of it. I strongly believe that she’s a big part of the reason that a lot of them stay mad with Tamar – they act as if they are afraid of her or something. My aunt is one who takes one thing, gets people stirred up and mad and they won’t even know WHY they are mad. It’s telling to me that it seems like Trina agrees with Tamar a lot of the time but is scared to open her mouth. I wouldn’t watch this if Tamar left – she’s the most interesting, craziness and all.

    • guest

Best comment of the thread! Tamar may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but when EVERYBODY is always ganging up on HER and never calling out pot-stirring Towanda, you know they are up to no good.

Personally, I love Tamar. She and Toni are the only reasons I watch.

    • Kristen

I agree. I think if they took the “power” away from Towanda she wouldn’t really have anything. Everyone else has their own thing going on but her and that’s why she stays angry all the time, and can’t really give a reason why. I really wish Trina would call her out on the craziness.

  • Gabie Aldrich

This is what happens when you hang with your family 24-7… I think they like all families need to build their own identity outside of their family. I bet they would be a lot happier to be around each other when they spend time together after a long break.

  • Kristen

I agree that this is hard to watch. I think being on a reality show is showing them in a different light than what they are willing to accept. One thing that I noticed on the first season – ALL of the sisters are extremely childish and really aren’t as mature as you’d expect them to be. That’s their main problem, in my opinion. Their parent’s divorce still has an affect on them and their own relationships/marriages. I would really like for them to just grow up. In a way they’re all calling out for attention.

    • Yvette

OMG I thought I was alone in feeling like they are super duper childish. The stuff they “fight” over is ridiculous and what’s so bad is that nothing ever gets resolved.

      • Kristen

Exactly!!! I enjoy watching them but season after season they’ve become more annoying to watch. They’d be much more entertaining if they just grew up and got over themselves.

  • mays

these dumb black women selling their soul on TV for money. Now everybody know you’re a dysfunctional family.

    • guest

Most families are dysfunctional to some degree … not really fair to make it seem like they are the poster children for dysfunction. Also, not really fair to label them as dumb. I think they seem about as intelligent as most women (not a diss, just saying that their decisions are no ‘dumber’ than those made by many women in everyday life).

  • MsSincerity

All of them need to quit the show….last season was so boring that I barely remember anything about it, except for Tamar and Towanda prolonging their alleged dislike of one another (I still think that’s just for tv)….. them screaming and hollering in the preview is more than likely their attempt to “up the drama” so people will continue to watch…(sighs)

  • Sunshinegirl

Reality TV will do it to you every time. Hopefully, they are able to get things together. Tamar can be, as she would say, #TeamTooMuch, but we’ll see what happens.

  • starapple

Clearly, they have a new scriptwriter. The acting is getting much better.

    • juicyco

those glasses were clearly made to shatter at the touch

      • Truth be Told

        Lmao .

  • Patricia

This is part of the reason why people should not get on reality television. As usual, it ruin lives. Since people don’t mind having their lives ruin for five minutes of fame, not only that, it exploits black women as being violent.

  • MatureBlackWoman

Someone must have told them that their show is boring.

  • Jayda Brown

Talk about drrrraaaaammmmmaaaaaa, is this season of BFV worth watching?

  • Scorpios Rules

I’ll believe it when i see it Tamar

  • Anonymous

I thought the issues with Tamar and sisters were because of things she said about her sisters either on the Tamar and Vince show or in interviews, although I do think one of her sisters was a bit jealous. Not calling any names but one sister always claimed to be to busy to join her on tour for one day and had issues with her that she wouldn’t never talk about.

  • kcar

Wow that was hard to watch. I think it needs to be the last season PERIOD for all the Braxtons.

    • Yvette

I agree. Enough is enough. This family should really consider stepping away from the cameras. They have way too many unresolved issues from the past and now the present and I think that is the reason Toni didn’t want to do the show in the first place.

    • B.

Yeah. I’m sick of the same issues not being resolved. I totally get why Tamar would want to leave. Watching all of them against her, for seasons, has gotten old. Last year, she was apologizing, even when she wasn’t sure why, and that still wasn’t enough. I feel like everyone is not being completely honest and some don’t want to say they are jealous. So, it keeps going around in circles. They need a break from each other and the cameras.

Towanda seems so hateful and jealous towards Tamar.

    • Tigger83

WOW.’s certainly time for this family to quit reality t.v.
