How to Heal Love Wounds

There’s a saying that writing is textual healing. O.K. fine, there’s no such saying, but whatever: we just said it. Writing or speaking in safe contexts can help you let out the toxins that need to be released from love wounds. Keep a diary or a private blog, that truly airs out all the issues you harbor. Write as much as possible for as long as possible, and go back to review your writing. It’s amazing how reading something you wrote a month ago can give you control and perspective. It can help you to understand your own self. You can choose to share your thoughts with others, but remember that you’re writing for your own healing, not necessarily for the entertainment of the world. Write until you reach a point of peace.
