Days like this, I feel bad for Keyshia Cole. If it wasn’t enough that she’s dealing with her marital issues in the public eye (her own doing though), her mother, Frankie, sisters Neffe and Elite, and her other estranged siblings are trying to get a check by airing out family drama for a possible new reality show.

Years after Frankie & Neffe was a hit on BET and created a major rift between Cole and her family, Frankie, Neffe, Elite, and siblings Robert, Latifia and Sam are taking part in a new show called Family Therapy. The pilot hasn’t been picked up by any networks as of yet, and it’s unclear if it will appear as a web series only, but the storyline is oh so messy. It seems that Frankie and her children, many of which she doesn’t have a good relationship with, will live under one roof as they deal with her issues with drugs, try to understand one another, and hopefully be able to come together as a family, all of this with the help of therapist, Susan Rosovsky. Of course, Cole is not involved in this reality show, but her name is mentioned at one point in the trailer for the show.

In a revealing interview with The Breakfast Club in March, Cole explained why she couldn’t associate with her mother and sister, Neffe, anymore:

“I mean, it’s just chaos and I don’t want that around him [son Daniel]. I have to protect him from that type of chaos. I haven’t even spoke to my mom, Frankie, in a minute. They don’t have my number. It’s just a respect thing for one. Last time I had my mom around I sent her through rehab and I tried to help her and I spent a lot of money…and she just took it way too far, yelling in my house. Luckily my child was asleep. After that I was like, ‘Naw.’ You gotta make an adult decision to move that out…”

And she wasn’t kidding about “chaos.” Check out the trailer for the pilot and let us know what you think.
