I just so happened to catch a recent episode of “Talk Stoop” in which Alan Cumming was featured. Though Cumming said that he had known for some time that he was attracted to men, he still married Hilary Lyon, a classmate of his at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. The couple divorced after eight years and no children. But Cumming said he was in love with and sexually attracted to his wife. Since his marriage to Grant Shaffer, Cumming has said that he identifies as bisexual and has a healthy sexual appetite and imagination and being married to a man doesn’t mean he’s stopped finding the female form appealing. He said he often feels like bisexuals get a bad rep.
