It’s not a rare occurrence for reality stars to be on the fence about whether or not they will be returning to the shows that made them stars. However, by the time the cameras begin rolling, they can usually offer up a solid answer. Strangely, that isn’t the case for Tahiry Jose. The “Love & Hip Hop” star says that her fellow co-stars have already begun filming for the new season, but she’s still uncertain about returning to the popular VH1 franchise at all.
“I think currently they have already started filming, yes. Have I started filming? No,” she recently told Mara The Hip Hop Socialite.
The former video vixen adds that her returning for the new season is still a toss-up. While she doesn’t offer an exact reason for all of the uncertainty, it seems like the hold-up is probably money related.
“It’s still a little 50/50 chance,” she explained. “We’re still trying to figure out certain things – I’ll just leave it at that.”
Speaking of things she’s on the fence about, Tahiry seems to have changed her tune about the possibility of a future relationship with Joe Budden.
“I spoke to him today. I unblocked him, and I believe…yeah, I don’t know, it’s weird,” she said. “I have nothing to say about that. With Joey and I, I don’t think we could ever be enemies, but, we’ll see. Maybe, maybe not.”
As for those rumors that Mona Scott-Young had a role in the release of Mimi Faust’s sex tape, Tahiry says she doubts it.
“I don’t know if Mona had anything to do with it – I know for a fact that all of us, we’re in charge of our own storyline, what happens. The show checks on us almost every day, every week on what’s happening today with us, so I don’t think Mona pushed that situation,” she explained. “I believe that it was probably something that was happening, and of course it’s happening in every day-to-day people’s lives, and that’s what the show captures.”
