NBA star Brandon Jennings and “The Game” actress Lashontae Heckard are one of the latest celebrity couples to go public with their relationship. And while we’d like to say that their new blossoming romance is without drama, it’s not. In fact, they’re actually a crucial part of the messy love web that is Ashanti, Nelly, Floyd Mayweather, Shantel Jackson and Teyana Taylor.  You see, while Brandon and Tae are now an item, Tae was recently romantically tied to Nelly and she also used to be friends with Teyana Taylor—Brandon’s ex.

Tae’s friend ex-friend recently appeared on The Breakfast Club and well, she’s not happy. Interestingly, she says her beef is with Tae.

“There’s always that one girl that you go through everything with. So at that point, you don’t shock her anymore. Brandon doesn’t even shock my anymore. So my issue isn’t with Brandon. I’m not even upset because I know him. My issue is with Tae because we were friends.”

Teyana then went on to break down the timeline with text messages that prove she and Tae are actually friends. According to Teyana, Brandon and Tae went public on March 27th, but she has text messages from Tae about getting together and taking photos that were sent on March 5th.

“Here’s the issue, you’re 36 years old,” she went on to say of Tae. “You’re a grown woman. I’m 23. How old are we here? As a woman, the moment you found out that me and Brandon were engaged—and peep game, when stuff hit the blogs I called her. I found out via the blogs. And when I called her, she got defensive. When you’re friends with somebody, you’re more hurt and disappointed than angry.”

Teyana adds that Tae’s best friend made her fully aware that Brandon has history with the GOOD Music recording artist.

“When I called Tae, she was getting you know. I said ‘Tae, listen, I’m calling and letting you know how you handled it was wack. And she goes, ‘I didn’t find out until recently.’ How long ago was recently? She said ‘3 weeks ago.’ 3 weeks ago was March 5th. You understand what I’m saying?”

She also decided to tackle rumors that Brandon left her for Tae and Brandon’s decision to downplay their relationship.

“Oh, no, no, that’s not how that went,” Teyana explained. “But then, on Twitter he said he’s been single for three years. I’m going to make this part about him very, very short. Only Brandon and I know the personal things that we had going on in our relationship. So it’s kind of like, if you wanna down play what we have to build a platform for your current relationship, that’s your business. That’s none of my business. Brandon knows, the world knows, I know that we were engaged. That was very public. We were engaged at the Madea premiere. But I mean, if you forgot that, then I forgot that too.”

“Nothing is ever serious when you’re in your current relationship,” she continued. “I feel no real man should ever downplay anything, whether it’s me, his baby’s mother, anything. Don’t downplay your past relationships to build a platform. If she loved you for who you are or liked you for who you are, then she’s gonna like your regardless. You don’t need to downplay me. I was disappointed. I felt betrayed because of everything we’ve been through on and off for six years.”
