MiMi Faust is standing her ground, y’all. During a recent interview with Hot 97’s morning show, the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star stood by her initial statement that her new sex tape with boyfriend, Nikko, was simply a home movie that they made for fun.
“I don’t known anything about adult films,” she argued.
As for the critics who believe that the tape looked a bit too professional to be a home movie, MiMi says:
“He had a good camera… and tripod.”
She also still insists that the tape was accidentaly leaked and denies leaking it herself to spice up her LHHATL storyline.
“We made like four or five of them because we like to watch ourselves,” she continued. “The tripod held the camera.”
“Everyone is going to have their opinions and that’s fine. I can’t sit here and change that,” she says. “The tapes were taken from the airport.”
And for those inquiring minds who were hoping that she would be coming out with her own line of heavy duty shower rods, MiMi says it’s not happening.
“We’ve already discussed all of that and they’re not trying to touch it because it’s associated with a sex tape.”
MiMi then went on to reiterate that recreating her infamous move isn’t even about the shower rod, but about your partner being able to support your weight.
“It’s not the shower rod. Let me tell you guys something: your partner has to be able to support your weight. I wasn’t swinging from that rod, holding on by myself. He was holding me up. It was bolted, but I was just holding on to the rod. Don’t get on that shower rod—even if it’s bolted in—and try to hang on it like it’s going to hold you up. It’s not”
Of course when the public first learned about the sex tape, many wondered about MiMi’s daughter, Eva, whom she shares with co-star Stevie J. But MiMi says that Eva isn’t the least bit affected by the tape, as she’s only four.
“She’s four. It’s not affecting my daughter.”
And when the time comes where Eva may be affected by it, MiMi says she’ll explain things to her.
“You know, she’ll have to go to school with kids getting stabbed up too, so I’l explain that to her as well. It’s a whole bunch of other things in this world that are worse than mommy making love to her man.”
