If you’re a mogul in the making, boot up the Blackberry and join the National Black MBA Association. Hard-working nurses can holla’ at the National Black Nurses Association and writers can become members of the National Association of Black Journalists. The list goes on and on. When you join a Black association, you will not only meet Black folks on the grind in your field, but you’ll also reap a myriad of other benefits. Here are some reasons to join a professional association full of the young (or not so young), gifted and Black.
