Kelly Rowland always had a special place in our hearts. She was always the unassuming, sweet one in Destiny’s Child who seemed to be totally caught off guard by all the group changes. When they finally broke up in 2006 and everyone went their seperate ways, it was clear that Ms. Knowles would be just fine– Mat and Tina don’t play.
But, quite frankly, we were a little unsure about the other two members. Fortunately, Rowland managed to stay afloat and is working on a third studio album this year.
She announced via legit-to-quit MySpace, that she will be releasing two Stateside singles on June 29th. Look below to listen to the mainstream geared single “Rose Colored Glasses”. The second single, “Grown Woman” (produced by Stargate and written by Ne-Yo) will be out soon.
