(Patch) — For 20 to 40 hours a week, Mary Parker donned a security’s uniform and set out to build a legacy. Determined to succeed, she spent countless hours acquiring contracts, training employees and building new client relationships, until she cracked open the door to the male-dominated security industry. Now 10 years later Parker’s full-service company,ALL (n) 1 Security, with headquarters at 3915 Cascade Rd., is the only nationally-certified African-American, female-owned security firm in the country. With 200 employees, four offices in the United States and revenues in the millions, ALL (n) 1 is getting ready to go international with a site in Ghana.
