And since we’re on female rappers, let’s go ahead and move on to Remy Ma. Now, you probably already know Swizz co-wrote produced this one. He’s all in the video, putting his right and left hands up, screaming “Get it poppin’.” But I love this song so I’m putting this one on your plate for free. Remy Ma, rushed the release of her first album, There’s Something About Remy: Based On A True Story, wanting it to come out on the anniversary of Big Pun’s death. And even though Fat Joe felt she should have waited, the two singles from the project, fared pretty well. But as of 2007, the album had only sold 158,000 copies. If you look closely at this video though, you’ll see a couple of cameos by some famous and not so famous folk.
