2010 was not a good year for Mel Gibson. After an explosive argument with his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva went public, many questioned his mental state. During the custody battle that later ensued, it was discovered that Mel suffers from rage issues as well as bipolar disorder. Though he hasn’t spoken out about his recent diagnosis, in an interview from 2002, he talked about being diagnosed as manic depressive.
