A few years ago, Jane Pauley was a very famous face on Dateline NBC. During a 2004 interview with Matt Lauer, she talked in-depth about her diagnosis with bipolar disorder, which started with minor depression but worsened over time. She talks more about the disorder in her memoir Skywriting: A Life Out of the Blue and speaks to the importance of adapting and knowing her moods so that she can react appropriately.
