Wheree is “I am Woman”?! What song is more empowering of women than that one! oh, and btw, firework isnt exactly empowering for women; it shouldn’t be on this list.

Although I do love all the video’s on your list……why do they all portray a common theme related to men or sex?
Female empowerment comes in many ‘Non Sexual’ forms…..and with the exception of India Arie….all of the video’s on your list associate these women’s empowerment with their rejection of a man or a relationship.
There are thousands of empowered woman with healthy relationships who’s empowerment has nothing to do with being scorned or jilted by a man.
Empowerment has to do with ‘Self’…and although a bad relationship can often be a catalyst to pursue a more empowered state….it is not what ‘Girl Power’ is all about ; )
