According to TMZ, one of the mothers of Terrell Owens’ four kids says she’s willing to give him a break on child support payments, under the condition that he visit the daughter he hasn’t really made many efforts to see.
According to TMZ, in new court documents, Melanie Smith has made a deal with Owens that will help the troubled former NFL star reconnect with his daughter, Dasha. While he is supposed to pay $2,250 each month for the young girl (she is between 8 and 9, but Owens and Smith have been doing battle over child support since 2011, AND Smith was also one of the women who confronted him on Dr. Phil), Smith is willing to deduct the cost of travel for Owens to see his daughter from his monthly child support payments. According to TMZ, if he travels to Georgia and spends at least six hours with Dasha, he can take take the costs of that out of the $2,250 he owes next month. However, under the terms of the agreement, he can only receive this discount three times a year, and can’t use it more than once a month.
I would hope that something like this wouldn’t be necessary to make someone want to be with the human being they brought into this world, but whatever it takes to get him to his child, I guess…
