Adult Film Star Sues Production Company Over Mr. Marcus Syphilis Scare
After allegedly being exposed to syphilis by co-star Mr. Marcus (Marcus Spencer), adult film star Lylith Lavey (Heather DeAngelo) is suing the company that produced the shoot.
According to the Daily News, Lylith filed a lawsuit against BangBros on Tuesday with the Los Angeles Superior Court. In the suit, the porn actress argues that the company should have been aware of Marcus’ condition.
“Plaintiff completed the scene with Mr. Marcus and subsequently found out that (he) had syphilis,” the lawsuit states.
As a result of being exposed to the communicable disease, Lylith claims she experienced emotional distress and castigation from other actors and actresses in the field. She did not however, contract the disease.
If you recall, Lylith also sued Mr. Marcus personally after learning that he filmed with her while being infected with the disease. She is seeking a default judgement against him. Just last spring the 42-year-old pornography actor was sentenced to 36 months’ probation and 15 days of community labor in relation to the scandal. It was revealed that he altered documents after testing positive for syphilis so that he could continue filming. He later justified his actions by claiming that a doctor told him that he was not contagious.
“I have to live with this. No one else does,” he reportedly said following the incident. “I’m sorry. I’m very sorry.”
BangBros has yet to comment on the latest lawsuit.
