‘I Need To Be At The Hospital Catching Babies:’ ‘Married To Medicine’ Returns With Two New Cast Members
Bravo’s controversial reality show “Married To Medicine” is back for another season. All of the show’s original cast members, with the exception of Karie Wells, have returned and two new ladies have also been added to the mix. The show’s newest additions include Lisa Nicole Cloud and Dr. Heavenly Kimes.
Interestingly, according to the network’s description of the new series, BFFs Quad Webb and Mariah Huq’s friendship has significantly deteriorated since last season.
“Mariah and Quad’s once inseparable friendship is barely hanging onto life support,” the description explains. “Mariah, the self-proclaimed “Queen Bee,” has demanded credit for making Quad “relevant” in the exclusive circle of Atlanta medicine, while Quad feels Mariah has a bad case of jealousy.”
That doesn’t appear to be the only relationship on life support. Apparently Dr. Simon and her husband are also experiencing some problems this season.
“Dr. Simone realizes that her busy career and recent financial blunder has taken a toll on her marriage.”
Similar to the current season of “Basketball Wives LA,” motherhood after battling cancer will also be explored this season.
“Dr. Jackie, a two-time survivor of breast cancer, is ready to finally experience motherhood, either through adoption or by using a surrogate — with her biggest obstacle being her husband.”
Though many were outraged by the amount of drama, cattiness and violence demonstrated on the show last season, Bravo producers didn’t seem too fazed by those protests, as the season two trailer foretells that plenty more drama is to come.
“Married To Medicine” is set to make its season two debut Apr. 6.
