The Game Recap: Malik Wright is a Mess

Bad-Boy-Baller Malik Wright is well known for his reckless ways—but rehab—the most avid “The Game” fan’s jaw dropped when that news broke.  However, if you were watching closely, you may have noticed that Malik has been clutching his bottle of prescription pills rather tightly since the season began and the bottle poppin’, groupies, and outbursts have reached a new high.  Will Malik Wright continue on his downward spiral or could he be a ‘Derwin Davis’ in the making now that he is headed to rehab—only time will tell and I’ll be watching. Let’s recap Malik’s road to rock bottom in Episode 4:

    Im hoping for more comedy and improvement of the story lines. Kelly is funny. I wish Melanie would have pursued her career as opposed to doing nothing but worrying about Derwin and Janay son. Malik needs a reality check. They r portraying him as so damn stupid. Im trying to hold on but am not being impressed with the story lines, the writing seems very amateurish. CW should have kept it on their network. They need help or it will be off the air again this time for good. Do they even play football, just saying. Now they all have big homes, Jason is a clown.

    I agree @ ecc and @mesha! I miss Kelly so much. She is apart of the show! Since her and Tasha are back to being friends, why wouldn't they have her in more episodes!!!! Also, whatever happened to "Rick Fox" Him and Tasha's story would have been sooooo good right now. glad "dante" is gone! Or is he like Kelly? I was kinda of skeptical after the season premiere but I am very happy where it's going!! Especially seeing Jason show some heart as well!!!

    Kelly already had a contractual agreement some where else. She will only have cameos this season. That was revealed before they even started shooting the new season in Atlanta

    What happen to Kelly? She has a reality show but it seems like they are trying to write her out slowly…

      I agree Mesha. This is the second time I haven't seen her in an episode. I'm worried BET is trying to make it all black and that's not right. Kelly is an integral part of the show and I like her.

        She is a supporting actress because BET couldn't keep her as a main character for all the money she is getting paid

    This episode has been a redemption of the past few episodes…we see redeeming qualities in both Malik and Jason, both of whom seemed to have spiraled into their own narcissistic worlds since the relaunch of the show…
