“The Game” Puts a Lid on the Drama

After a drama-filled season premiere , “The Game” fans were given a moment to blink, without missing something,  during last night’s episode. Episode two put a lid on most of the over-flowing drama and provided fans with a few reminiscent moments and phrases for old times’ sake. Check out the highlights!

    WOW!!!!……..WTF?????…………..the show has only been back on the air for 2 WEEKS!!!!….and ppl are complaining already!!!!……….man I LOVE the show…..off course their are some things that im not happy about…….like the NEW KELLY…..and BRITTNEY…….i also dont like the fact that Tasha Mack is scared of Kelly…..lol…but other than that…im just happy that there is a BLACK sitcom that i can watch….im so tired of seeing other sitcoms with 1 or 2 black actors sprinkled among the cast….and dont even get me started on how REALITY TV likes to portray us………i dont care what you do for people they will find SOMETHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT!!!…..dude give it a rest, SMH!!!!

Never ever that is a horrible network and I’m hoping the plug gets pulled all the stupid negative reality shows they have aired… Oh and let’s not forget how sorry 106 is now nope no support form me. I hate MTV also so there is no bias between the two. Trash Networks that produce, trash shows. Anywho let’s get on the Game now the show does not do anything for me end of story!

    They rushed the taping and also taped it out of sequence . That means it was not a live audience. They did this to save money. Just like anything else we do in life. You get what you pay for.

    I THINK THE PROBLEM IS US…THE VIEWERS!!! WE WERE YEARNING FOR THE SHOW FOR ALMOST 2YRS THAT JUST ABOUT EVERY FAN HAD REALLY HIGH EXPECTATIONS OR THEY DREW THEIR OWN CONCLUSIONS OF WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN!

    I DO BELIEVE THAT THE SHOW WAS BETTER OFF ON THE CW B/C JUST AS I EXPECTED, BET CAME IN AND DID WHAT THEY WANTED, SO NOW THE TRUE FANS OF THE SHOW ARE A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED. I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE UP ON THE GAME JUST YET, BUT I DO HOPE THAT IT FINDS IT'S MEDIUM AND ALL THAT BLOOD, SWEAT, N' TEARS THAT THE FANS OF THE SHOW PUT IT 2 HAVE IT BACK ON THE AIR, DOESN'T GO 2 WASTE!

    its so frustrating to see people be so critical…..i think the comedrama that its always been…is better….there are funny moments, then there's the drama. I don't get the whole need for a laugh track in the first place…do we need to be prompted to laugh?? I think people had the expectation of picking up where they left off…but that would be so expected…they're showing how these folks grew in two years. Give it a chance to warm up! and Melanie might look a bit off because she's really pregnant with her first child.
    just a side note….I think our 'people' can be so negative and critical of the pettiest things. Instead of that look at how the show can relate in so many ways to our lives or people that we know. thats really what made me a huge fan of this show.

    The show is Great!!! Episode 2 proved to me that they still have the same writers, it was like it never left. I don't understand why you people need the laugh reel to play louder or even at all! If it's funny, then laugh! I think it's harder for some people to realize a joke was just said without the the laugh reel. But a true fan can keep up with all the shows sarcasm w/o a laugh reel.

    The Game feels black-owned. Why??

    The show feels “cheap”. Missing the chemistry which made us want the show back.

    Where is the live studio audience? The storyline so far has not been good.

    If its a soap opera, then it needs to be an hour. Not 20 minutes w/10 min in commercials.

    Ratings will decline.

    Right now, BET is happy when people tune in. Advertisers pay BET more money for commercials shown during THE GAME.

    The season is already taped.

    You got that right…..We were devastated that the show got cancelled, campaigned to get it back on waited TWO years and now folks are downing it? People fail to realize what SUPPORT means…I am a FAN and The Game has my support.

    wow we are NEVER satisfied are we..??? its only episode #2 this is a African american show one of the only existing right now so SUPPORT SUPPORT SUPPORT. The things you guys are complaining about are very petty hopefully the game can pave the way for others networks to have black shows… think about the bigger picture before you give up on you own people your own network..PEACE

      Petty? Most people are asking for more comedy and better writing. That's hardly petty when it comes to a TV show — that's the essence of a TV show!

      I don't believe it blindly supporting projects that are unworthy. Step up "The Game" is they want support. It's not that hard.

    I think people expecting the show to be exactly the same as when it was on CW is unrealistic. I think both episodes have been good for different reasons. I do agree the laugh track is off and needs to be fixed. But, I think the writing is good, I can tell it is the same writers. Now, the quality as far as cameras is off and I think it is affecting the overall look and feel of the show. But, Im glad it is back. And, I will definitely continue to support. I applaud BET for listening to its fans and trying to do somethng positive.

    TEETEE Terrence needs his own show. This new season is definitely NOT measuring up to what I am used to watching. I didn't watch it b/c it was a "black" show I watched it b/c it "WAS" funny.

    I think that it's CLEAR that the show does not have the same writers! There s absolutely no suspense… they are resolvig all of the conflicts in one show – 1/2 hour… c'mon… keep us guessing!!!

    Also, they need to pick up the laugh tracks – but more importantly, pick up the darn comedy!

    Sigh! PLEASE get better!… I am sooo pulling for them!

    People say that the show has the same writers but I am not convinced. I'm glad that they eased up on the drama and added some more comedy, but something was still off. It was better than last week, so maybe by the end of the season they will be back to the show that it used to be.
