1. Make sure you’re leaving for the right reasons

Leaving a job shouldn’t be so cut and dry. The decision process involves a lot of consideration and forethought as to what your next move will be. People leave all the time for various reasons – more pay, less oversight, more opportunities or taking more initiative at home! Let’s say you moved on and the new job didn’t meet your expectations; you may end up going back. To reevaluate your options, research jobs and ask direct questions of a supervisor or executive about their requirements.
