Earlier this week La La Anthony revealed that she was once in an abusive relationship. Now SWV singer-turned-reality-star Taj George is following suit. During a recent interview with ABC News Radio, Taj also revealed her past run-ins with abusive men.

“Domestic violence, or violence, or an abuse, they come in all different kind of forms because my first boyfriend was physically abusive [and] the boyfriend after that was mentally abusive,” Taj said before revealing that one abuser frequently put her down about her appearance.

“He would tell me, ‘You’re fat! You don’t look right!’ and I would just strip down to the bone; whatever he needed. He told me I was fat. I lost 30 pounds.”

Taj went on to admit that she grew up witnessing domestic violence in her home.

“I grew up in a domestic violence household. It’s not something I wanted to do [and it's] nothing I wanted to experience and I for damn sure wasn’t going to bring no kids into that.”

She adds that this was the reason why she got out of that situation.

“So he was definitely out of the picture.”

It proved to be a great decision. She’s now in a healthy relationship with her husband, former NFL star Eddie George.

“He’s supportive,” she says. “Whatever I want to do, he’s willing to do it.”

We’re glad she got her happy ending.

These stories are wayy to common. When I was little I broke a VERY expensive vase and my daddy spanked me. I cried sooo hard (I am the baby of six kids and a daddy’s girl so it was my first time being spanked) and he picked me up and apologized and told me what I did was wrong. He also told me he would never hit me again and i was to never allow a man to cause me any harm. Til this day I remember that story. If a man don’t remind me of my father I dont want them. Im so glad I found someone loving, caring, and respectful to me as my father was to my mother and I
