I wasn’t even of the legal drinking age when this song came out, but you couldn’t tell me anything when Busta Rhymes would open the track with “Don’t this s**t make a n***a wanna (jump! jump!)” In all honesty, aside from the chorus, the lyrical content of the track really wasn’t about alcohol, but seeing as how this was one of the first songs that bumped into the heads of all of my coworkers, I thought I’d play nice and include it. Plus, the beat with its acoustic guitar goes pretty hard…
