Earlier this week we were shocked to learn that Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade recently fathered a child with a woman who is not his longtime girlfriend-turned-fiancée, Gabrielle Union. In case you somehow missed it, news leaked that Dwyane fathered a 3-month-old child, which was reportedly conceived while he and Gabby were on a relationship “break.” Apparently Atlanta rapper Ludacris is following the D.Wade playbook because it was recently revealed that he, too, welcomed a child last month. But unfortunately, that child is not by his long-term girlfriend, Eudoxie.
According to TMZ, the child, whose name is Cai Bella Bridges, was born on Dec. 9 to a woman named Tamika Fuller. And in similar D. Wade fashion, it is also being reported that Luda and Eudoxie were on “break” during the time he got Tamika pregnant. Since establishing paternity of the child, Luda has reportedly gone on to take legal precautions to keep Tamika from doing him in with outrageous child support requests. Legal docs filed on behalf of the Georgia rapper claim that he only makes $25,842.41 per month. Under Georgia law, this would mean that Tamika is entitled to $1,754.66 per month in child support.
Luda has yet to publicly comment on the scandal, but it appears that he and Eudoxie are okay as the two just spent New Year’s Eve together (check the pics with Kevin Hart at the Hennessy V.S and AG Entertainment event at Compound in Atlanta below). We’re not sure what happened to using condoms, but fathering secret children during relationship “breaks” seems to be the latest trend. We will continue to keep you posted as this story develops.
