“I miss the old Kim” is a statement frequently made by 90s hip-hop lovers and most times, they aren’t just referring to her catchy hooks and feisty punchlines. Anyone with eyes assumed that she has had a bit of cosmetic work done on her face. Some would say that she’s barely recognizable. It’s unclear whether or not she has regrets about her  drastic change in appearance, but it does seem to be a rather touchy subject for the Brooklyn rapper.

“No disrespect, no shade, but I’m not going to answer [that] question,” Kim when asked about the media’s fixation on her face during an interview wit Rolling Out. “I think that’s kinda corny. I don’t know how to answer that. That’s not a question I would answer,” she continued.

The pint-sized powerhouse added that the only thing she will say in response to questions about her appearance is that she’s “blessed.”

“I’m blessed. That’s all I can say. And I am who I am.”

What she was willing to discuss, however, was her current thoughts about finding love and possibly getting married.

“If it happens, it happens,” said Kim. “I’m not going to fight it. At the end of the day, I feel like I can have both.”

Do you think people should lay off discussing Kim’s appearance?

Kim should’ve just stopped at the first nose job and boob job and called it a day. Who purposely thins out their lips?

Lil Kim is not blessed. Her plastic surgeon is. He probably upgraded his entire lifestyle off her alone. I feel sorry for her bc she is clearly not grateful for her black features. I look at Iman and Patti Labelle as constant reminders of how graceful we age. There is no need to go to a plastic surgeon.

    • Chanda

Patti admits to getting her nose done and I’m sure Iman’s done a little somethin’ somethin’ but they look good though.

She Looka Like A Miss Swan

No one is “obsessed” with your face honey. We are just “AGHAST”!
You jumped on the facial lift, peel, tuck, puck and muck of the hollyweird scene and now you stuck looking like a darkskinned Joan Rivers.
You had a talent and you messed up your package. I’m sorry…that ish is not cute, attractive and when you got too many “yes’ men around you…well…the result is that face.

In other words, she doesn’t have any regrets and if people don’t like it that’s their problem. I ain’t mad at her if she’s happy with herself……

    • guest

Yeah she looks real happy in that pic ;-0

      • CC

Doesn’t matter, she said she’s happy so who are we to say she’s not or shouldn’t be???

  • unque43

As long as she is happy that is all that matters.

    • Bahamamama

if she was happy she wouldn’t keep changing it….she has a problem, so she’ll never be happy.

It’s even cornier that she’s obsessed with plastic surgery, period.

  • BabyBlue

The real question is why hasn’t she gone to therapy yet? She has issues that a knife can’t cure.

I totaly agree and I must say this I think she is unmistakely one of the baddest rap artist along with eve and foxy brown. Now and then no other females and many men can’t touch them as rap artist. However I think Kim’s perception of how she views herself is horribly distorted. From her self esteem to her self image and it reflects in how she looks. She totally looks like a different person! She has to deal with WHY, and what happen. Also this is what happens when you have yes people around you telling you what you want to here instead of telling you the truth. Clearly she has multiple surgery’s that went horribly WRONG!

See, this is what i was talking about when i commented on MN’s other article about Kim’s interview with Rolling Out. Like i said before i almost feel bad for lil kim, but ultimately she is a woman who is drowning in insecurities…she did this to herself. I do miss the old ’96 Kim though.

I think it’s even cornier that she herself is so obsessed with her face. Leave the knife alone already!
