If you’re completely disgusted by the immature behavior Peter has been exhibiting on this season of “Love & Hip Hop,” know that you’re not alone. Of course we don’t approve of his behavior either, but it’s actually Peter who recently came forward and confessed that he’s “disgusted” as well.
“I’m aware that as a black man in the black community, we are setting some bad examples on how to treat our women,” Gunz said during an interview with The Grio. ”
“One day, I went to see 12 Years A Slave at the same time Love & Hip Hop was coming on. I went to see theto get away from Love & Hip Hop because at the time I was disgusted with the way I was looking on television. After seeing the movie, I came out more depressed than watching Love & Hip Hop because I’m like ‘your people went through all of that and you go on TV and act a fool,’” he continued.
Hopefully now that Peter is aware of the way he has been acting out, he’ll take some steps towards making a change.
“It takes someone to stand up and get better. I have to be a better man if I expect my son and my nephew to be better. Some days I have my regrets. Hopefully I can come on next season and show people that I’m a better man because that’s what I’m working towards,” he added.
We hope Peter will put some action behind those words. But unfortunately, if he makes too much of a change and becomes too normal, Mona may have him replaced by the next grown boy who is willing to show his behind on national television for a little fame and notoriety. Good thing he hasn’t placed all of his eggs in the reality TV basket. He’s actually looking to venture into radio.
“One of my goals is to be a radio personality somewhere playing old-school hip-hop,” confessed the “Déjà Vu” rapper.
What do you think of Peter’s admission? Is he being sincere or just blowing hot air?
