Normally Katy Perry can do no wrong but when she appeared on this year’s American Music Awards, her outfit sparked an outcry. While she wore a beautiful strapless dress on the red carpet, the “I Kissed A Girl” singer donned a different getup for her performance. Against a backdrop of floating lotus blossoms, Perry wore a cleavage-bearing low-cut kimono. She also had white powder on her face. Perry’s geisha-inspired performance was met with a lot of backlash but she has yet to comment.
