MadameNoire Featured Video

The universe is too funny. Just this morning I was listening to some of T-Pain’s greatest hits, (“Can’t Believe It (the JT remix),” “I’m N Luv (Wit A Stripper),” “Chopped N Skrewed”), when I thought, where is T-Pain these days? The last I remember seeing him, was when he was dancing around with Kevin Hart in his “Booty Wurk” video. But that was in 2011.

So, imagine my delight when I saw he just released a new video, “Up Down (Do This All Day)” featuring B.O.B. You know T-Pain, he never strays too far from the formula. It’s another club anthem, booty shaking song that I’m sure many of us will bounce to at a seedy house party or two. I dig the song.

But more than that the video itself is also quite impressive. It’s set in the ’90’s and recreates scenes from popular black movies like Boyz N The Hood, Poetic Justice and Don’t Be A Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in The Hood. In addition to the movie references, you’ll see a few familiar faces in there. Mama Dee is with her tag-a-long Shay. Mama Dee seems to have reverted back to her old pimpin’ ways and Shay is playing her main…whatever. You’ll also see Emmanuel, creator of “She Ratchet” and Tyrese sporting a mustache…which I’m not mad at.

Check out the video below and even listen to the song, then tell us pass or play?
