VH1 To Release ‘Single Ladies’ E-Book Series Before Season Premiere
If you’re too impatient to wait for the New Year to immerse yourself in VH1’s Single Ladies drama, you’re in luck! The network is releasing an e-book series that connects season two’s finale with the upcoming third season, the Hollywood Reporter says.
The e-books, which will be penned by New York Times‘ best-selling author Ashley Antoinette, will follow the show’s troubled trio: April (Charity Shea), Raquel (Denise Vasi) and Keisha (LisaRaye McCoy). The series will consist of three publications. The first one, which will be sold on Nov. 26, focuses on April. The next two will debut on Dec. 3 and Dec. 10 and they will center on Raquel and Keisha, respectively.
“They are being individually sold for $3.99 via Amazon, Barnes & Noble and iTunes, and as a bundle beginning Dec. 17 for $9.99,” The Hollywood Reporter adds.
Single Ladies is a scripted program that takes place in Atlanta. Three best friends with different perspectives on love and relationships battle their own personal challenges while they search for the perfect partner. Fans will see some fresh faces this season including LeToya Luckett, Damien Dante Wayans, and Lesley-Ann Brandt, the Huffington Post says.
The third season premiere is set to launch on Jan. 6 at 9 p.m.
